IT Administration Intern

NextGen is offering internship opportunities to students with a strong desire and interest to learn about IT administration and secure system operations. This position will primarily support IT administration duties within a secure facility and provide exposure to cyber management, security practices, and system support in a federal contracting environment.

No prior work history is necessary - we are willing to train the right candidate! Interns will be assigned a full-time mentor and will be embedded with NextGen team to gain real-world experience while contributing to meaningful projects.

Internship Activities May Include :

• Assisting with IT administration duties in a secure room environment
• Supporting user account management and system access control
• Performing routine system monitoring and maintenance tasks
• Helping to troubleshoot and resolve IT hardware / software issues
• Documenting IT processes and maintaining system records
• Learning and applying cyber management and security best practices
