The opportunity

Altruist is in the midst of an exceptional growth phase and we're excited to hire a Senior Analyst, Corporate Actions & Income Processing to join our growing Operations team. In this role you will own the full event lifecycle-from announcement through allocation and reconciliation-across equities, ETFs, mutual funds, and fixed income (with expansion into alternatives and listed options). This role is ideal for a growing leader with deep operational and technical knowledge who can lead modernization, automation, and control initiatives.

You'll stabilize and document current workflows, enhance controls and efficiency, and partner cross-functionally to deliver a scalable, audit-ready operation. While people leadership experience is welcome, the emphasis is on subject matter expertise, process optimization, and hands-on ownership.

Your impact

• Corporate Action Processing : Monitor, review, and process all mandatory and voluntary corporate actions-mergers, splits, rights issues, tender offers, warrants-from announcement through completion.
• Income Events : Oversee dividends, interest, and related payments; ensure proper withholding, tax treatment, and cost-basis adjustments.
• Event Lifecycle Management : Manage announcements, options, elections, allocations, entitlements, and reconciliations with accuracy and timeliness.
• Client & Custodian Coordination : Communicate voluntary event details, collect instructions, and submit elections via custodians, DTCC PBS / CA Web / AIP, or proxy agents within deadlines.
• Controls & Exception Management : Implement and monitor maker-checker controls, exception dashboards, KPIs, and audit-ready evidence.
• Automation & Modernization : Partner with Product and Engineering to streamline workflows, UAT new builds, and drive straight-through processing (STP).
• Risk Management : Identify, escalate, and resolve discrepancies; ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
• Knowledge Management : Build and maintain robust process documentation, playbooks, and standard operating procedures to support scalability and training.
• Vendor & System Ownership : Manage key vendor and platform relationships (DTCC, proxy vendors, custodians), and contribute to platform enhancements (FIS, XSP / Phase3, AIP).

What you bring

Strong working knowledge of DTCC PBS

Hands-on experience with FIS and XSP (Phase3 / XSP CA platform) strongly preferred

Dallas, TX salary range

$90,000-$130,000 USD
