Pharmacy Technician
Are you detail-oriented and passionate about supporting safe, effective patient care? We're looking for a Pharmacy Technician to join our team and play a vital role in preparing and distributing medications that make a real difference in people's lives.
What You'll Do
Assist pharmacists in preparing and distributing sterile and non-sterile medications
Maintain accurate medication records to ensure patient safety
Support daily pharmacy operations under the supervision of a registered pharmacist
Contribute to a collaborative, patient-focused healthcare environment

Qualifications
Education : Must be high school graduate or equivalent. Must be able to proficiently read, write and speak English. Must have strong math skills, with some basic algebra. Some college training preferred
Experience : One year of experience in a hospital or retail pharmacy desirable. Experience in a health care facility desirable. Proficient in using computer systems
License(s) / Certifi c ation(s) : Must be registered as a Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacist-Intern (if enrolled in a college of pharmacy) with the Iowa Board of Pharmacy, prior to the commencement of employment. Must be a Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or other nationally recognized certification provider. Must maintain a current Iowa Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacist-Intern registration and be in good standing with the Iowa Board of Pharmacy. Must provide a photocopies of renewal certificates to the Pharmacy Management Team prior to the expiration dates of current certificates.
