We are looking for a Benefits and Leave Analyst to join our team in Stockton, California. This role involves managing key aspects of employee benefits, leave administration, and workers' compensation processes. As this is a Contract to permanent position, it offers an excellent opportunity to transition into a long-term role within the organization.
Responsibilities :
- Administer employee benefit programs, ensuring compliance with applicable policies and regulations.
- Coordinate and manage leave of absence processes, including FMLA, disability, and other related programs.
- Analyze benefits data and provide recommendations to optimize program offerings.
- Oversee workers’ compensation cases, including claims management and reporting.
- Develop and implement procedures to enhance efficiency in benefits and leave administration.
- Conduct audits of benefits processes to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Serve as a subject matter expert to employees, providing guidance on benefits and leave-related inquiries.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure smooth operation of benefit programs.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of state and federal regulations impacting benefits and leave policies.
- Proven experience in benefits administration and leave management.
- Strong understanding of FMLA, workers’ compensation, and related regulations.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret benefits data.
- Proficiency in coordinating benefits processes and resolving issues.
- Effective communication skills to provide clear guidance to employees and stakeholders.
- Familiarity with compensation and benefits systems and tools.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
- Prior experience in the non-profit sector is a plus.
