Were looking for a dynamic Payroll Specialist to join our team in Reno NV! This is a hybrid role (combination of both onsite and remote work week) where you will coordinate and process employee payroll for company employees. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate and timely payroll processing be tech savvy with pertinent payroll programs and software and enjoy working directly with employees!

  • Fulltime Internal Position : Payroll Specialist
  • Location : Reno NV (Hybrid)
  • Salary : $ / yr
  • Hours : 8 : 00-4 : 30

Core Responsibilities

  • Process payroll on a weekly basis.
  • Calculate wages deductions bonuses and overtime based on employee records.
  • Ensure compliance with local state and federal tax regulations.
  • Handle employee payroll inquiries and resolve issues as they arise.
  • Maintain payroll records and reports for auditing purposes.

    • Qualifications

  • Proven payroll / timekeeping experience in work history.
  • Previous experience within the construction industry strongly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll systems and tax regulations.
  • Proficient in Excel especially with formulas and pivot tables.
  • Timerack and Avionte experience a plus.
  • Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in payroll processing.
  • Must be comfortable being employee facing.
