Our Direct client is seeking a Materials Coordinator to join their team and who is responsible for coordinating and overseeing the material management process on projects. This role involves overseeing the movement of goods, materials, and products from suppliers to customers, optimizing supply chain processes, and ensuring on-time delivery, cost efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

What’s the Job?

Key responsibilities include :

  • Creating work packages  and running forecasts and reservations to align with construction priorities.
  • Managing the flow of materials  within the company, ensuring production processes run smoothly.
  • Ordering, receiving, and distributing materials , acting as a critical link between suppliers, production teams, and management.
  • Collaborating with field engineering, construction, and material reporting  teams to support project operations.
  • Implementing processes to agreed standards and targets , supporting continuous improvement initiatives, and identifying areas for enhancement.
  • Managing risks  related to the supply of equipment and materials to minimize impact on construction schedules.
