About the Position
At Power Design, giving back is part of who we are. The Community Impact Coordinator plays a key role in bringing our philanthropy and volunteer programs to life — helping to strengthen communities while supporting our internal culture of service. In this role, you’ll support the Director of Community Impact and help manage the daily operations of Power Design’s foundation and community engagement initiatives. From coordinating volunteer events and sponsorships to celebrating the moments that matter, you’ll help ensure our impact is both meaningful and memorable.
Position Responsibilities
- Provide administrative and project support to the Director of Community Impact, helping to coordinate communication and priorities across departments.
- Manage calendars, travel arrangements, meetings, and department events.
- Plan and organize volunteer days — from company-wide initiatives to department-level service projects.
- Maintain the charitable giving and volunteer tracking dashboard to ensure accurate data and reporting.
- Manage sponsorship requests and present recommendations for review.
- Coordinate ad and promotional requests for foundation and community events.
- Create and maintain the community events calendar and project tracker.
- Upload and share community engagement highlights and photos to celebrate company-wide involvement.
- Collaborate with departments to identify new volunteer opportunities and encourage participation across teams.
- Provide event coordination and onsite support — including scheduling, volunteer communication, event setup, and wrap-up.
- Represent Power Design and the foundation in community initiatives, helping to strengthen partnerships and build brand trust.
- Support the DEI Committee by managing attendance, meeting materials, and special projects.
