The City of Renton's Public Works Airport department is recruiting to fill an Airport Maintenance Worker vacancy at the Renton Municipal Airport. Airport Maintenance Worker performs technical, physically labor-intensive tasks in support of the Renton Municipal Airport operations. Work is performed independently and as part of a team. Tasks are completed with general guidelines and require some independent judgement. Contribute to the City's vision, mission, and goals in the performance of all job duties.

The schedule will be 12 : 00pm to 8 : 00pm i n the winter and 1 : 00pm to 9 : 00pm in the summer.

Recruitment Process :

The screening process will include a review of minimum qualifications and applicants selected for an interview will be invited via email to self-schedule a time through the Government Jobs account. At minimum, this position will be subject to a standard criminal background check and professional reference check. This position requires driving and is also subject to a driving record check from the WA State Dept. of Licensing (or other state equivalent). Driving records will be evaluated based on a points system depending on the infraction and severity.
