OPS -Sergeant at Arms Office

The Sergeant at Arms Office is recruiting multiple individuals to provide support in various program areas. These clerical positions serve in a temporary, time-limited capacity. The hours per week may vary from 20 to 40 hours, with some occasional evening hours. Individuals may anticipate employment between October 2025 March 2026.

Examples of Work Performed :

• Makes deliveries and runs errands as required.
• Makes minor repairs of office furniture and equipment.
• Attends doors and assists with crowd control during session and committee meetings.
• Provides transportation as requested.
• Performs basic carpentry and painting in the maintenance program.
• Moves furniture, equipment, and supplies as required.
• Wraps packages for mailing and delivery.
• Assists with the taking of supply and property inventories.
• Performs other related duties as required.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :

Minimum Qualifications :

A high school diploma or its equivalent or equivalent combination of training and experience.

Salary :

Hourly rate of pay is $15.00
