The Director of Nursing (VNPN) leads and manages the Vocational Nursing / Practical Nursing programs to maintain high educational standards, compliance with accreditation and regulatory requirements, positive student outcomes, and efficient operation of all activities of the department. This role requires strong leadership skills to oversee program development, faculty management, and student success initiatives.
Licenses / Certifications
- Current unencumbered license or privilege to practice registered nurse in the state of TX
Education / Experience
Bachelors in Nursing; Masters or Doctorate preferred3 years Clinical ExperienceActively employed in nursing in the past 5 years, preferably in administration or teaching. Minimum of 1 year teaching experience in pre-licensure nursing education program.Experience with nursing accreditation processes and compliance requirementsExpertise in adult education, including teaching methodologies, curriculum development, and curriculum evaluationSkills
