Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive patient assessments and evaluations in hematology and oncology
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
• Educate patients and their families on treatment options and care plans
• Participate in clinical meetings and case discussions
• Stay current with advancements in hematology and oncology

Requirements

Setting : Outpatient chemotherapy and infusion center

Patient Volume : 15-21 per day split between MD and NP

Duties : All aspects of diagnosis staging precision medicine symptom management and treatment of hematology oncology patients

Infusion Center Services : Chemotherapy immunotherapy blood / platelet transfusions hormone therapy antibiotic therapy rheumatoid arthritis injections andtherapeutic phlebotomies

Support Staff : NP RNs MAs front office clerks

EMR : iKnowMed and Cerner

Must be board-certified or board-eligible
