As a Per Diem IR Registered Nurse PRN at our Flagstaff location, you will play a crucial role in the comprehensive interventional care process. You will have the opportunity to engage in various aspects of patient care, from prepping patients for procedures, including setting up IV lines and administering medications, to sedating and monitoring patients during conscious sedation. Your responsibilities will also include circulating and assisting in the procedural suite, handling patient tissue samples, and responding promptly to any contrast reactions. You will work closely with the IR physician to ensure the proper administration of medications, provide patient and family education, and facilitate a seamless discharge process. Are you the IR Registered Nurse PRN we're looking for?

To excel as a Per Diem IR Registered Nurse PRN at our Flagstaff facility, candidates must possess a unique set of skills and qualifications. Successful applicants will hold a valid RN license in the state, have completed an approved sedation certification, and boast at least 2 years of critical care or coronary care experience. Attention to detail, precision in task completion, and strong data entry abilities are essential for this role. The ability to work autonomously within a team environment, maintain accurate records and files, and adhere to high patient privacy standards is crucial. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, are paramount for interacting with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary team.

Flexibility in scheduling and a commitment to ongoing professional development, including CME compliance and ACLS certification, are key attributes that will contribute to success in this exciting PRN position.

Knowledge and skills required for the position are :

• Must have successfully graduated from an approved nursing program
• RN license in the state(s) position is listed for
• Successful completion of an approved sedation certification
• 2+ years critical care or coronary care experience.
• Skill in completing assignments accurately and with attention to detail
• Skill in data entry with minimal errors
• Ability to accurately prepare and maintain records, files, reports, and correspondence
• Ability to work independently in a collaborative environment
• Must successfully complete CME compliance training as required by CiC
• BLS / ACLS required
• Must maintain high patient privacy standards and adheres to HIPAA guidelines
• Ability to process and handle confidential information with discretion
• Must demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills
• Must be willing to be flexible as to shifts and schedules
