Job Summary

As a Millwright Mechanic, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of a variety of industrial machinery and equipment used in the oil and gas compression process. Your technical expertise and hands-on skills will be crucial in ensuring the reliable operation of these critical systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on gearboxes, compressors, and other industrial equipment
  • Conduct laser alignment and precision measurements to ensure optimal performance
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
  • Perform welding and fabrication tasks as needed to modify or repair equipment
  • Maintain detailed records of all maintenance and repair activities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements

Qualifications

Required :

  • Proven experience as a Millwright or Mechanic, with a strong understanding of industrial machinery and equipment
  • Proficiency in the use of precision measurement tools, such as micrometers and dial indicators
  • Welding and fabrication skills
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
  • Preferred :

  • Certification or training in industrial maintenance, such as a Millwright or Maintenance Mechanic program
  • Experience working in the oil and gas industry
  • Working Conditions

    This position will involve working in an industrial environment, with potential exposure to noise, vibrations, and other physical hazards. Candidates must be able to lift and maneuver heavy equipment, and be comfortable working at heights or in confined spaces. A valid driver's license and the ability to travel to job sites as needed are also required.
