Entertainment Planning Intern And Front-Of-House Intern

Join our theatre team as an Entertainment Planning Intern and front-of-house intern, where you'll gain hands-on experience in venue management, event coordination, and the hospitality and entertainment industries!

Knowledge & Skills Developed : You will gain a comprehensive understanding of key theatre operations, including :

  • Event Planning & Management
  • Crowd Management, Safety & Security
  • Front of House Management
  • Volunteer Usher Program Management
  • Catering, Hospitality & Patron Services
  • Guest Experience
  • Accessibility & General Maintenance

You'll learn through direct instruction, professional mentorship, and hands-on involvement in each area. Additionally, you'll manage projects via ASANA and may complete an industry-based research project.

  • Attend weekly theatre meetings (as schedule allows)
  • Two office afternoons weekly (8 hours total)
  • FOH set-up before shows & strike after (as schedule allows)
  • Opportunities to independently manage FOH for exceptional interns
  • This internship is designed to equip you with broad, real-world experience in the theatre and event planning industries.

    The candidate who is selected for this position will have to successfully pass a drug screening and a criminal background check.
