Purchasing Assistant
The Purchasing Assistant works within the Purchasing Department with a variety of professional duties involved in the ethical procurement and contracting of materials, supplies, services and equipment for college departments and operations. Provides information and assistance to all college departments regarding fiscal rules and procedures. Provides informal and formal solicitation services in conformance with established College, State and Federal policies and procedures. The Purchasing Assistant assists in administering the College P-Card program, maintains surplus, disposition and asset management, and serves as primary related to materials handling duties including shipping and receiving functions.
