District 56 Farmers Insurance in San Diego is hiring for our Insurance Sales Apprenticeship Program a full-time, paid training opportunity designed for individuals who are driven, entrepreneurial, and interested in building a long-term career in the insurance industry.

As an apprentice, you'll work alongside a successful Farmers agent and receive structured mentorship, classroom training, and hands-on experience selling personal and commercial insurance. This is the first step in a defined career track that can lead to future agency leadership within the Farmers Insurance network.

We are currently hiring across San Diego County, including :

Chula Vista, La Jolla, Carlsbad, San Marcos, Valley Center, Poway, and Temecula.

Responsibilities

What You'll Do :

Engage with customers to understand their needs and recommend tailored insurance products

Learn to sell policies in auto, home, life, and business insurance

Follow a structured sales training and licensing program

Collaborate with your mentor agent and district team to achieve sales goals

Gain experience with client acquisition, quoting, customer service, and retention

Prepare to transition into a fully licensed agent role with entrepreneurial responsibility

Requirements

Motivated, growth-minded professionals with an interest in entrepreneurship

Must obtain or be willing to obtain California Property & Casualty, and Life & Health licenses

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Goal-oriented with a positive attitude and strong work ethic

Comfortable using basic technology and CRM tools

Prior experience in sales or customer service is helpful, but not required
