Position Title : Host / Hostess
Location : DiamondBack’s, Waco, Texas
Reports To : Front of House Manager
Position Type : Part-Time or Full-Time Available
About the Role :
As the first and last point of contact for our guests, Hosts at DiamondBack’s set the tone for an exceptional dining experience. Poised, professional, and warm, our Hosts manage reservations, greet guests with polished hospitality, and maintain the flow of the front-of-house operation.
Responsibilities :
- Warmly greet and farewell all guests with elevated professionalism and poise
- Manage OpenTable reservations and waitlists with accuracy and hospitality
- Provide accurate wait times and manage seating flow efficiently
- Maintain an organized, clean, and inviting host stand and entrance
- Collaborate with servers and managers to ensure smooth table turns and guest satisfaction
- Answer phones, confirm reservations, and accommodate special seating requests when possible
- Communicate calmly and professionally during peak dining hours
