Job Description

Primary Job Responsibilities :

Responsible for yard compliance to NOV policies and procedures such as but not limited to HSE and HR

Responsible for yard compliance with the Tuboscope Threading Quality Manual requirements

Part inspection and auditing of operator inspections per applicable quality system licensing agency or customer requirements.

Complete inspection reports.

Audit operators first article and inspection reports.

Complete understanding of the inspection program.

Complete non-conformance reports and communicate status to applicable management.

Aid with and audit facility production paperwork as required.

Additional Qualifications / Responsibilities

Qualifications / Requirements :

High School Diploma or Equivalent

Previous experience with mechanical inspection preferred but not required.

Ability to solve basic math equations.

Must be able to learn and operate mechanical testing equipment such as calipers micrometers and scales.

Blueprint reading skills are preferred but not required.

Maintain code 70 certification.

Manage ordering and customer authorizations for proprietary items.

Able to perform acceptance inspection on material purchased by the facility.
