POSITION SUMMARY :
The Graphic Designer supports the Y's marketing efforts by designing accurate, engaging, and visually appealing print and digital marketing materials across all service areas, including but not limited to, membership, programs and financial development. Maintains organizational brand consistency in accordance with YUSA guidelines across all print, digital, and facility designs.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Create, design and produce high quality print, web and visual components of the YMCA's annual marketing and communications plan. Collaborate with the Marketing Team to fulfill graphic design requests, ensuring projects are completed on-time and on-budget. Collaborate with staff across the Association to offer creative input and ideas that support strategic marketing plans and campaigns. Remain current on design trends and ensure all work aligns with YMCA branding guidelines. Participates in staff meetings and / or related meetings, as assigned. Additional responsibilities as appropriate within the scope of the position. QUALIFICATIONS : Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or equivalent with 1-2 years of experience preferred. Proficient in standard business and design software, such as Adobe Creative Suite (Acrobat, InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator), Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently, multi-task and meet deadlines. Excellent written and oral communication. Awareness and understanding of AP style.
