Location : Plano, TX 75023

Job Type : 12+ Month Contract

Technical Writer for Wireless Network Engineering Group, seeking a resource who has telecommunications / wireless background.

The Samsung Technical Writer for a wireless network engineering team will be a highly skilled technical writer with responsibilities including creating easy-to-understand user content and documentation to increase clarity, performance, and usability. Write, edit, and update material for methods of procedure, manuals, installation, operation and maintenance.

Responsibilities :

1. Edit existing engineering documents while working closely with an existing team of system engineers, developers, testers, and writers.

2. Organize and edit operational procedures and product manuals.

3. Maintain comprehensive documentation that meets organizational standards.

4. Write user-friendly content that meets the needs of the target audience.

5. Review, publish, and manage technical documentation for internal and external customers.

6. Evaluate current document policies and templates and develop innovative approaches for improvement.

7. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications :

• Bachelors in English, Communication, or a related field or relevant work experience
• 5+ years of experience developing technical documents
• 2+ years of experience working in a wireless network company or the equivalent
• Familiar with telecom infrastructure terminology
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word
• Excellent working knowledge of English grammar and the written
• Ability to work independently as well as cooperatively with engineering teams is a must
• Ability to multi-task and manage deadlines; ability to prioritize based on urgency
• Experience writing clear and concise technical documentation for complex topics
• Experience with the following tools : Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft SharePoint, and Microsoft Word (advanced)
