Cusdial Worker

The custodial worker is responsible for performing custodial duties, minor maintenance, and other miscellaneous tasks to ensure that buildings and facilities are maintained in a healthy, safe, and sanitary manner.

Responsibilities :

• Perform general, routine custodial duties, including dusting, mopping, vacuuming, cleaning restrooms, and restocking paper and soap supplies.
• Conduct routine maintenance on custodial equipment and supplies.
• Empty trash receptacles, dispose of trash into compactors and / or dumpsters, and bag trash for proper disposal.
• Ensure common areas such as break rooms, lobbies, and kitchenettes are cleaned and stocked.
• Maintain cleanliness of breakrooms.
• Follow instructions regarding chemical use and workplace safety hazards.
• Wash and buff floors, including those in the manufacturing facility.
• Store cleaning materials and supplies safely and orderly.
• Submit purchase requisitions and restock cleaning materials and supplies.
• Report any potential food safety, quality, or food defense concerns to plant manager or quality personnel.
• Maintain product safety, legality, regulatory compliance, and quality systems.
• Adhere to all documented Good Manufacturing Practices.
• Comply with all company policies and procedures.

Work Environment :

The work environment includes exposure to hazards or physical risks, necessitating adherence to basic safety precautions. Safety glasses and / or safety gloves may be required. The position may involve moderate exposure to unusual elements such as extreme temperatures, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, unpleasant odors, and loud noises. High noise levels may require hearing protection.

Job Type & Location :

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of West Bridgewater, MA.

Pay and Benefits :

The pay range for this position is $16.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
