Job Title : Pool Technician (Day Shift)
Department : Maintenance
Reports To : Water Maintenance Supervisor
Summary
Perform general maintenance duties on pool / spas as assigned and / or depending on experience / competence, under guidance of preventative maintenance and work orders. Assists Maintenance Laborers and Groundskeepers when needed.

Education and / or Experience :
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); previous experience in pool / spa maintenance work required. Must possess a valid Arizona Drivers license and meet MVR requirements to be authorized to use drive and operate company vehicles.
Computer Skills :
Must have basic PC skills.

Language Skills
Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
Physical Demands :
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand for prolonged periods of time; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk or hear and taste or smell. The employee must regularly lift and / or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral, depth perception and ability to focus.
Work Environment :
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts; high, precarious places; secondary smoke; toxic or caustic chemicals; outside weather conditions; extreme cold; extreme heat and risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.
