Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment. Experience with other network analysis tools and automation platforms. Knowledge of video streaming protocols and standards. ISTQB or other relevant certification in software testing. Python automation (automating test cases). Video (RF) experience. CWNA certification.
We are seeking a skilled WiFi / Set-Top Box / Quality Tester with Wireless / Wifi experience! The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with testing WiFi-enabled devices, set-top boxes, and associated software. This role involves working closely with development teams, using industry-standard testing tools, and contributing to the product’s development lifecycle through Agile methodologies.
Key Responsibilities :
- Conduct functional, performance, and regression testing of WiFi-enabled set-top boxes and associated software.
- Develop, maintain, and execute test cases for various WiFi modes, ensuring devices meet performance and functionality standards.
- Utilize testing tools such as WireShark for packet analysis and issue identification, enhancing troubleshooting processes.
- Implement automation scripts to streamline testing processes and reduce manual testing efforts.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile environments, participating in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
- Log and track defects using Jira, ensuring clear communication and resolution of issues.
- Work closely with developers and product owners throughout the SDLC to ensure seamless integration and functionality of WiFi features.
- Analyze test results, generate reports, and provide feedback to the development team for continuous improvement.
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices, emerging technologies, and testing methodologies.
