Halcyon Home is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Hospice CNA PRN to support our growing geriatric home health population in San Marcos TX and surrounding areas. We offer competitive pay and wonderful team support.

• Provides direct patient care to patient under direction of the RN and according to the Aide Plan of Care.
• Provides necessary skills to assist the patient with safe transfers and ambulation per the Hospice policy.
• Provides necessary skill to appropriately report changes and document pertinent information and care rendered to
• patient to ensure continuity of care.
• Practices accepted infection control principles. Provide a clean safe and comfortable environment.
• Promotes positive supportive respectful communication to patient / family and other employees.
• Provides an environment which promotes respect for patient privacy and property.
• Provides skills necessary to assist the patient with proper nutrition and adequate fluid intake.
• Contributes to the management and efficient operation of the Hospice and demonstrate effective time management skills.
• Provides skills necessary to perform treatments and procedures according to the Hospice policy.
• Promotes the Hospice philosophy and administrative policies to ensure quality of care.
