Pharmacy Technician Data Entry / Processing Clearwater, FL

Assignment Specifics :

Full-time, Monday Friday

13-week contract to hire

Shift : 9 : 00am 5 : 30pm

Location : Clearwater, FL

Job Duties :

Process and fill prescription orders with accuracy and efficiency

Handle insurance adjudications, resolve rejections, and manage billing issues

Prepare, package, and label medications for pharmacist verification

Perform high-volume data entry and maintain prescription paperwork

Manage inventory through cycle counts, restocking, and expiration monitoring

Assist with returns, quarantines, and destruction processes

Cross-train in various pharmacy functions and support department needs as required

Ensure compliance with HIPAA, Medicare / Medicaid, and insurance regulations

Requirements :

High School diploma or GED

Active Florida Pharmacy Technician license in good standing

PTCB certification required

2+ years of pharmacy technician experience (retail or closed-door pharmacy preferred)

Strong computer skills and comfort using Microsoft Office

Excellent communication and organizational skills
