Family Therapist

North American Family Institute (NAFI), a national non-profit human services agency, is seeking a full-time clinician for the delivery of an evidence-based model, Functional Family Therapy (FFT) in Polk, Highlands and Hardee counties in Florida. FFT is a community-based program, working with youth and families involved or at risk of being involved in the Child Welfare system.

The position consists of providing in-home intensive family therapy to families during non-traditional work hours. All applicants must have a Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy-or a related human service field, and a minimum of two (2) years of experience working with adolescents. Applicants must be eligible to work with children and adolescents by completing a series of background checks and abuse screenings.

The position requires a valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, reliable transportation and the ability to work a flexible schedule, including evening hours, as needed. Computer experience, data output, and familiarity with electronic health records is preferred. Bi-lingual applicants are encouraged to apply.

Must be willing to provide services to families in Polk, Hardee and Highlands Counties, as needed.
