Chief Nursing Officer / DON

Job Summary :

Manzano by PureHealth is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Chief Nursing Officer / DON to join our team in Albuquerque, New Mexico. As a key member of our leadership team, the Chief Nursing Officer / DON will be responsible for overseeing the clinical operations of our organization, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care, and fostering a positive and supportive work environment for our nursing staff.

Responsibilities :

Provide strategic leadership and direction to the nursing department, ensuring alignment with the organization's mission and vision

Develop and implement clinical policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices

Oversee the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives, including performance improvement projects and quality metrics

Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care

Recruit, retain, and develop a high-performing nursing team, ensuring adequate staffing and resources to meet patient needs

Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and transparency, promoting a positive work environment and employee engagement

Develop and manage budgets, ensuring efficient use of resources and financial stability

Requirements :

4 years of experience in a senior nursing leadership role, with a focus on clinical operations and quality improvement

[LEVEL OF EDUCATION] degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or a related field

Current RN license and BLS certification

Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and projects

Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to develop and implement data-driven solutions
