Job Summary
The Crane Operator / Loader is responsible for handling materials as related to the shipping and receiving of inventory and customer orders. This position reports directly to the Operations Manager.
Job Responsibilities
- Crane and Forklift Operation : Safely operate overhead cranes and forklifts
- Product Knowledge : Understand the products handled, including color coding and customer specifications; read and interpret all measuring devices
- Shipping and Receiving : Unload and receive inbound stock shipments and load outbound shipments, ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed
- Loading Procedures : Safely load trucks, including proper chaining and tarping of trailers
- Additional Duties : Perform other duties as assigned to support warehouse operations
