Obstetrics & Gynecology Physician

OBGYN job opportunity in Kankakee, Illinois Located 60 miles from downtown Chicago, IL About the Opportunity - Collect, record and maintain patient information such as medical histories, reports and examination results.- Manage and treat patients within scope of practice.- Analyze records, reports, test results or examination information to diagnose patients medical conditions.- Analyze test data or images to inform diagnosis or treatment within scope of practice.- Explain procedures and discuss test results or prescribed treatments to patients.- Monitor patients conditions and progress and reevaluate treatments as necessary.- Expertise providing reliable, high value and evidence-based medicine that is supported by education and research.- Ability to use electronic medical records to keep track of patient visits and information related to the physician / patient encounter.- Expertise performing Evaluation and Management (E / M) coding for Physicians.- Ability to work a full-time schedule of at least 40 hours of direct patient care.- Participate in on-call during the week and on weekends (not all specialties will require on-call duties) Compensation and Benefits - Competitive base salary consistent with MGMA guidelines- Production bonus based on wRVUs- Loan repayment- Sign-on bonus- Generous paid time About the Group - Medical Center offers clinical excellence, superior quality and safety. - Medical Group is composed of 170 providers who have a voice in how their practice is run. - With consistent leadership, financial stability and a continued growth strategy in place, Medical Center has earned national recognition. - Candidates can expect to find within the network numerous clinics, community agencies and other health care professionals, where patients can be referred when appropriate.
