What You'll Do :
Provide customer service to clients, students, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities as appropriate.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the educational facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to assist with access control and help to deter prohibited items or behavior on the premises.Document and report security-related incidents, maintenance issues, and other unusual activity according to site procedures.Collaborate with school administration and Allied Universal management to support a secure environment tailored to the needs of an educational location.Remain alert and observant during all shifts, adapting to changing conditions and requirements specific to the educational environment.Minimum Requirements :
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Allied Universal is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
