The Office Coordinator is a public-facing in-person position in the Victim Services Division (VSD). Under the supervision of the Deputy Chief of Victim Services the Office Coordinator is primarily responsible for the intake guidance and coordination of resources for individuals seeking addition the incumbent is responsible for ensuring high levels of organizational effectiveness in order to successfully manage the day-to-day operations of the division. The position is multi-faceted with unique responsibilities that are instrumental in supporting the mission of the VSD.

Qualifications :
Minimum Qualifications
Requires a minimum of 2 years of training education and / or experience in social welfare behavioral science criminology psychology or a closely related field and responsible social service criminal justice or advocacy experience.
Desired Qualifications
Ability to maintain highly confidential and time-sensitive information. Proven to have excellent communication skills. Strong written communication skills for data entry purposes. Experience with U-visas and knowledge of the criminal justice system. Bi-lingual in Spanish desired.
Demonstrates respectful clear and concise communication. Ability to work collaboratively and be a supportive team player. Ability to make independent and informed decisions. Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook.
