Downtown New Orleans, Office Building Schedule : Monday Friday, 10am 6pm; Every other Saturday

Job Summary : We are seeking a dependable and experienced Full-Time Stationary Engineer to join our team and help maintain the safe and efficient operation of building systems in a downtown office building. The building is commercial office building with large-scale chiller systems. We offer competitive pay, insurance, PTO, and more.

Responsibilities :

Operate, maintain, and monitor mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.

Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance tasks.

Respond to building system alarms, troubleshoot issues, and perform minor repairs.

Maintain logs and records related to system operations.

Communicate effectively with property management and contractors as needed.

Ensure compliance with safety procedures and applicable codes.

Ability to climb ladders, lift up to 100 lbs, and work in mechanical rooms, rooftops, and confined spaces as needed.

Requirements :

Valid Stationary Engineer license (or equivalent certification required by local jurisdiction).

Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a commercial or office building setting.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Availability for scheduled Saturday shifts and flexibility to cover weekdays on short notice.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
