Senior Accountant US Entities-Contract-(6 months)

Sia Title : Project Consultant (Exempt Contractor) or 1099

Project Title : Senior Accountant-US Entities

Level : Mid-Senior for Consultants- Mid for Specialists

Project Length : This is a temporary position with an expected duration of 6 months

Project Hours : 40 hours per week

Location : Contractor is expected to be on site 4 days per week in our New York office

The expected compensation for this contract is $104000 to $114400 per year or $50-$55 per hour. The exact pay rate will vary depending on a wide array of factors which may include but are not limited to skills experience and location.

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead monthly closing activities including reconciliations journal entries and financial reporting
• Investigate and resolve accounting issues and discrepancies promptly
• Prepare and analyze financial statements and management reports
• Support process improvements and ensure accuracy of financial data across systems
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate information flow
• Manage and problem-solve transactional accounting activities as needed (AP AR bank recs etc.)
• Work independently in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
