We are looking for a pastry production cook to join our team!
This position requires the ability to do many different types of tasks to create a delicious experience for our guests.
Evening shifts needed, as well as weekend availability
We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Pastry Prep team member to join our team. We are looking for someone with a well-rounded background in both sweet and savory pastry production. This role is ideal for an individual with culinary or bread / pastry training and prior professional kitchen experience who thrives in a collaborative, excellence-driven environment.
This hands-on position requires familiarity with bread baking, laminated doughs, cookies, and various seasonal sweet and savory bakes.
- Key Responsibilities :
- Prepare and produce a diverse range of baked goods, including cakes, cookies, brownies, breads, seasonal pastries, and savory items .
- Accurately scale, mix, shape, bake, and finish pastries with precision and consistency.
- Adhere to recipes while maintaining a clean and efficient workspace.
- Assist with both sweet and savory prep tasks according to the daily production schedule.
- Collaborate effectively with the Chef to achieve production goals.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring proper handling of equipment and ingredients.
- Contribute to the ongoing refinement of recipes and systems as needed.
- Ideal Candidate Profile :
- Possess hands-on pastry or kitchen experience (culinary / pastry school, bakery / café work.
- Comfortable with both sweet and savory pastry preparation, including lamination, custards, and savory fillings.
- Demonstrates a strong sense of timing, attention to detail, and a clean, organized working style.
- Enjoys learning and improving techniques within a fast-paced, high-standard environment.
- Is reliable, communicative, and a dedicated team player.
- Capable of lifting 50+ lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Interested in being part of a growing and thoughtful bakery team with opportunities for advancement.
