As a Part-Time Security Officer, you'll use our exclusive Claim a Shift platform to view and Pick up open shifts based on your availability-giving you the freedom to build a schedule that works for you, while gaining valuable site experience across various industries. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a financial institution location, you will actively monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and promote a secure environment for staff and visitors. Your presence and exceptional customer service skills will foster positive interactions while supporting a caring and people-first culture. By conducting routine patrols and remaining visible, you will contribute to maintaining order and addressing security-related concerns, all while reflecting our values of teamwork, integrity, and innovation.

  • What You'll Do :
  • Provide customer service to clients and guests by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the financial institution and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify any unusual conditions or security-related hazards.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and other sensitive areas, reporting any suspicious activity or persons as appropriate.
  • Complete detailed and accurate reports on incidents, daily activities, and any security-related concerns observed during patrols.
  • Communicate and collaborate with Allied Universal team members and client representatives to address site-specific needs and requirements.
  • Remain alert to any changes in the physical environment or patterns of behavior that may require security-related intervention or reporting.
  • Minimum Requirements :
  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • CPR and / or First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
