About the Role

The Company is seeking a VP, Corporate Controller to be a pivotal leader in the hands-on management of the corporate accounting and finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the development, analysis, and interpretation of consolidated financial information in compliance with US GAAP. This role is not only about maintaining the integrity of financial statements but also about driving the evolution of policies and procedures to support strategic growth and continuous improvement in financial reporting capabilities. The VP, Corporate Controller will lead the month-end close process, ensure tax efficiency, and partner with the financial planning and analysis team for budgeting and forecasting. Additionally, the role involves close collaboration with manufacturing operations on inventory accounting, managing the annual financial audit, and overseeing the enterprise accounting system. Applicants for the VP, Corporate Controller position at the company must have a Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related business discipline, and a CPA certificate designation. A minimum of 15 years' of relevant experience is required, with a strong background in public sector accounting and controllership, particularly in SOX-compliant environments. The ideal candidate will have a history of working in a Big Four accounting firm, followed by progressively responsible roles in a global public company. The role demands a leader who can provide strong financial leadership, ensure compliance with policies and procedures, and foster a culture of continuous improvement. Supervisory duties include managing a high-performing team, talent development, and setting departmental KPIs. The VP, Corporate Controller will also be involved in the preparation of financial presentations for the board of directors and must be adept at financial analysis of external partnerships and contracts.
