Description

The Department of Pediatrics at NYU Grossman School of Medicine and Hassenfeld Children's Hospital at NYU Langone Health is seeking a full-time academic physician to join the Division of Pediatric Hematology-Oncology with a specific focus in hematology.

Successful candidates will have a demonstrated commitment to clinical practice and scholarly activities in hematology and will be responsible for fostering programmatic development.

Responsibilities include provision of clinical care in the inpatient and ambulatory settings as well as education of medical students, residents and fellows in the Division. The Division has 9 pediatric hematologists-oncologists and provides a complete range of clinical services, including management of a diverse patient population with a full spectrum of hematologic and oncologic conditions.

Candidates will also have the opportunity to conduct research and participate in Departmental safety and quality initiatives.

Qualifications

Applicants must be board certified / eligible in Pediatric Hematology-Oncology and must be licensed (or eligible for licensure) in New York State.
