As the Retail Account Sales Manager, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative people around the world.
Here, you will make an impact by :
Managing a set of diverse customers in retail and on-line
Influencing a cross-functional team of Supply Chain, Analytics, Shopper, Category Development, Brokers and Marketing
Managing all sales forecasts and monthly goals
Managing promotional and store execution budgets
Managing Line Reviews and Promotional Strategies and all internal / external customer focused meetings
Developing annual strategic account plans (e.g., vision, strategy, key objectives, success metrics, financial forecasts) and providing inputs for integrated business planning
Calling on buyer to executive level associates to develop industry relationships in order to create contracts and positions for 3M's products
Leading Customer Annual Operating Plans / Joint Business Plans
Company Vehicle :
This position requires driving a company vehicle, which will require pre-employment and ongoing review of motor vehicle history for candidates who are offered and hired for this position
Your Skills and Expertise :
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications :
Bachelor's degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution
Seven (7) years of experience in Key Account Sales for Regional and National Chain Accounts in the consumer / retail business in a private, public, government or military environment
Current, valid Driver's License.
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include :
Experience in leading national retail key account business
Knowledge of how to work with the customer and dealer centric tools
Demonstrated experience of effective negotiation skills and strategic planning
Experience with Analytics and Supply Chain preferred
Work location : Remote
Travel : May include up to 30% domestic
