Raytheon’s Optics Consolidated Manufacturing Center (OCMC) in Richardson, TX, plays a pivotal role in enhancing Raytheon’s competitive edge in optical components, assemblies, and systems. We need an early career Demand Planner (aka Demand Controller) to plan and prepare manufacturing production schedules in alignment with Material Requirements Planning (MRP) and program requirements. The Demand Planner assesses and implements schedule changes, improves business processes as necessary, tracks and communicates the status and constraints to successful production execution including material availability, tooling readiness, equipment availability, and other protentional operational issues.
You will help prepare and support various reports utilized by the organization for day-to-day execution including Work In Progress (WIP) management and monthly throughput tracking. You will also help create commit / build plans, managing metrics, and driving part shortage resolution. You will collaborate and coordinate cross-functional interdepartmental activity in support of production requirements (i.e. with Quality Assurance, Factory Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, Program Management, Logistics).
This is a day-shift schedule and relocation is not offered.

The salary range for this role is 66,000 USD - 130,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
