THE POSITION :

At STACK the Network Engineer will deploy monitor upgrade and support operational technology services and corporate networks. The position requires expertise in operating highly available secure and scalable networks. The Network Engineer works under minimal direction with considerable latitude for initiative and independent judgment. This is a hands-on position that requires strong technical skills as well as excellent informal leadership interpersonal and communication skills.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Design implement and maintain the organizations local and wide area networks and other networking components.
• Install configure and maintain routers switches firewalls and other network devices.
• Monitor network performance identify bottlenecks or issues and proactively implement solutions to optimize network performance and ensure high availability.
• I mplement and manage monitoring tools to oversee system performance identify issues and implement necessary measures to optimize system performance and reliability.
• Conduct regular system backups audits and testing to ensure business continuity.
• Provide advanced technical support and troubleshooting for escalated network and system-related issues.
• Investigate and resolve complex network problems collaborating with cross-functional teams and vendors as needed.
• Perform root cause analysis of incidents and develop preventive measures to minimize future occurrences.
• Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry best practices applying them to enhance network performance.
• Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations procedures and troubleshooting steps.
• Prepare regular reports on network performance security incidents and other relevant metrics.
• On-call availability may be required to respond to emergency situations.
