job_description.job_card.job_descriptionAssist licensed plumbers with the installation, repair, and maintenance of commercial plumbing systems Cut, assemble, and install pipes, fittings, and fixtures (PVC, copper, steel, etc.) Support leak detection and pressure testing under supervision Maintain tools, equipment, and worksite cleanliness Load / unload materials and keep service vehicles organized Provide professional customer service on job sites Follow safety guidelines and state plumbing codes High school diploma or GED Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical work (climbing, kneeling, bending) Strong work ethic, willingness to learn, and attention to detail Good communication and teamwork skills Previous experience in construction, plumbing, or related trades State of Michigan plumbing apprentice registration Paid, on-the-job training with experienced plumbers Clear path to journeyman licensure (6,000 hours required in Michigan) Competitive pay with opportunities for raises as skills grow Full benefits package (health insurance, retirement plan, PTO) Stable year-round work in an essential trade

We are hiring a motivated Apprentice Plumber to join our team in Grand Rapids, MI. This is an excellent opportunity to start a hands-on career in plumbing with paid training and a clear path toward becoming a licensed journeyman plumber. You will work directly under licensed plumbers, assisting with installations, repairs, and maintenance while learning the trade.
