Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels. Proficiency in financial modelling, forecasting, and budgeting tools; advanced Excel skills required. Knowledge of financial regulations, compliance standards, and best practices. Strategic mindset, adaptability, and resilience in a dynamic environment. Proven leadership experience, including managing cross-functional teams and mentoring junior staff. Experience in change management and organizational transformation initiatives is advantageous. MBA or professional finance certification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA). Experience in automotive, energy, or technology sectors. Experience leading finance teams and supporting organizational transformation.
Role Overview :
We are seeking an ambitious and entrepreneurial Senior Finance Business Partner to join our fast-paced, technologically advanced organization. This is a unique opportunity for a driven professional to become a strategic advisor and true partner to value stream or business unit owners, helping them achieve their goals and those of the wider organization.
The Senior Finance Business Partner will provide high-impact financial insights, advice, and decision-making support, while driving accountability for process adherence and performance targets. This role works directly with C-Suite executives, integrates with leadership teams, and may manage a small team of finance business partners and analysts. You will make a significant impact on both the culture and performance of the finance function and the broader business.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead budgeting and forecasting processes for assigned value streams / business units, ensuring alignment with company targets.
- Collaborate with business leaders to develop and implement strategic plans, analyze market trends, and assess financial implications.
- Provide in-depth financial analysis to support decision-making, identify trends, and forecast future outcomes.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics, identifying areas of concern or opportunity and providing recommendations.
- Build financial models and conduct scenario analyses to evaluate business decisions and market conditions.
- Support preparation and evaluation of business cases and investment opportunities, assessing ROI, payback periods, and risk profiles.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments, providing financial expertise and facilitating communication.
- Build strong relationships with business leaders as a trusted advisor, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and optimizing performance.
- Drive change initiatives and process improvements within the business unit and finance team, identifying opportunities for automation and best practices.
- Mentor and develop junior finance team members, providing guidance, feedback, and coaching.
