Data Analyst (Finance) (Hybrid)
The Data Analyst will be responsible for supporting FP&A operations by managing reporting datasets, developing SaaS reports and analyses using both Excel and SQL, and troubleshooting data issues to ensure accurate financial planning, budgeting, and external reporting deliverables. In addition, the individual in this position will work closely with the VP of FP&A and Director of Analytics to implement advanced analytical models and other data-driven solutions.
Responsibilities :
- Interpret source data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports
- Work to ensure accuracy and integrity of data, as needed
- Maintain, automate, and increase efficiency of data sets
- Create financial forecasting model to support financial forecasting and planning processes
- Support FP&A analytics mission to generate datasets or create new reports / dashboards and visualizations to communicate results to our stakeholders
- Continuously learn and develop expertise in the company's business operations to enhance financial analysis accuracy and provide meaningful insights to stakeholders
- Create and analyze SaaS and Financial performance metrics to identify key drivers for expenses, revenues and business risks
- Liaise between finance and non-finance teams to support data collection, cross company initiatives, infrastructure development and process improvementsSupport initiatives for data integrity and normalization
- Assist in due diligence process for company acquisitions
- Perform ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting to support business operations, as requested
Minimum Qualifications :
Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management or Statistics requiredMaster's Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, or other quantitative discipline preferredA minimum of 1 year of proven working experience as a data analyst or business data analystExperience with statistical computer languages (SQL, Python, R etc.) to manipulate and analyze large datasetsDetail oriented with the ability to identify anomalies in dataAdvanced Excel skills, including VBAAble to work with and mine large amounts of dataExperience with statistical analysis preferredExperience with databases, query languages, and associated data architectureAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changeStrong analytical skills and ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracyExcellent time management and organization skillsOur Fantastic Benefits
