Lab Technician 3rd shift, starting wage $26.93 / hr. plus shift differential

Our dairy cooperative is seeking a regular, full-time Lab Technician 3rd shift (11pm-7am).

Schedule flexibility required willingness to work overtime, weekends, holidays and rotate shift, as required based on business needs.

Responsibilities include all aspects of product testing, ingredient screening, sanitation monitoring, loss control prevention, QA / QC of equipment, record keeping and report generation. Communication of quality standards and direction of blending / standardizing operations are also required.

Education in Food Science or related field preferred or equivalent experience preferred. Lab experience preferred. Physical Requirements include : mostly standing and sitting, some walking, bending and climbing (multiple flights of stairs on occasion). Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs. occasionally during the course of a shift.

Base rate of pay $26.93 per hour plus shift differential. This position also offers eligibility for rate increases every 6 months for the first 2 years of employment. Scheduled days off would be mid-week.
