At Hoot Reading, were on a mission to change childrens lives through literacy , and were growing our Hoot Teacher Network !

Educators at Hoot Reading provide 1 : 1 lessons for their students using innovative tech and a Science of Reading curriculum to empower teachers to focus on what they do bestteaching! We primarily support students during school hours through school-district partnerships.

Teachers are paid to participate in our robust professional development program before teaching lessons to ensure the best possible outcomes for our students!

Your Availability and Schedule :

• Hours : We are currently looking for teachers who can support morning lessons from 9 : 30 AM 11 : 30 AM CT, Monday to Thursday . Some afternoon and evening opportunities may be available, but they are limited. This is a part-time role, and hours vary based on student enrolment and scheduling needs.
• Commitment : Teachers can expect to work 515 hours per week , depending on program demand and alignment with your availability. Actual hours are not guaranteed.
• Consistency : Students meet with the same teacher three times per week at the same time of day . For this reason, we prioritize teachers who can offer consistent availability across multiple weekdays (Monday to Thursday).

What are we looking for?

Bachelors degree in education (or equivalent) is required.

2+ years of K-6 teaching experience with a strong grasp of phonics, decoding and reading fundamentals.

Tech-savvy with a reliable laptop, internet, and quiet workspace.

Being bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
