Maintain, develop, and optimize control applications for specific processing units.Design, modify, and fine-tune continuous and multivariable control strategies to boost plant performance.Provide technical expertise in the operation of DCS, PLCs, automation, and Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS).Monitor unit performance, collaborating with operations and process engineering to achieve production, quality, and energy efficiency goals.Support new product introductions and capital projects by developing and implementing new control strategies.Assist in alarm management and compliance, including alarm rationalization and KPI-driven improvements.Participate in Process Hazard Analyses (PHAs), Layer of Protection Analysis (LOPA), IPL evaluations, and incident investigations.Lead and participate in Management of Change (MOC) processes for process control changes.Support operator training and develop process graphics for effective use of control systems.Collaborate with project engineers and attend Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) when required.Provide coverage for fellow process control engineers during vacations or absences.Engage in Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) initiatives and complete all required training.Delta V,Foxboro I / A,PLC,MVC,Advanced Process Control,Honeywell RMPCT,Aspen DMCplus,Aspen DMC3,Troubleshoot DCS,Troubleshoot APC Controllers,Triconex
- Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in process control, process engineering, or operations within a petrochemical or refining environment.
- Proficiency in control system platforms such as Foxboro IA, Emerson DeltaV, or similar DCS systems.
- Experience with PLCs, preferably Triconex, GE Fanuc, Mark V / VII.
- Understanding of control network architecture and alarm management best practices.
- Knowledge of SIS lifecycle and safety control standards.
- Eligibility for or possession of a TWIC card.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Internet, and Email.
- Experience with batch control and multivariable advanced control strategies.
