We are looking for a highly skilled and enthusiastic SQL and Power BI lead to support our Cybersecurity Technology & Risk Automation initiatives. This role is ideal for a lead with 5-7 years of experience in data engineering, visualization, and analytics, who is eager to grow their skills while contributing to a critical area of IPRM Risk Management. You will collaborate with senior developers, cybersecurity analysts, and risk managers to design, build, and maintain risk data warehouse and testing analytics solutions.

  • Assist in designing and developing complex data models and ETL pipelines in Postgres / Snowflake and Power BI to support cybersecurity reporting and Technology Risk Management needs.
  • Write, test, and optimize SQL and DAX queries for data extraction, transformation, and visualization.
  • Support the creation and maintenance of automated testing routines using SQL and reporting using Power BI.
  • Collaborate with cybersecurity and risk teams to gather and clarify data requirements, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues in data workflows and Power BI reports, ensuring data accuracy and performance.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation for data solutions and processes.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices in Postgres, Snowflake, Power BI, and data engineering.

The Skills You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • At least 5 years of hands-on experience with SQL, Python, relational databases, and data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau.
  • Good understanding of Databases (Snowflake, Postgres etc), including database design and query optimization, and Power BI features like DAX and Power Query.
  • Demonstrable experience in integrating Power BI with SQL data sources and other data platforms.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a demonstrated ability to mentor and guide junior team members.
  • Preferred Skills :
  • Exposure to cybersecurity concepts, risk management, or related metrics is a plus.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms like Snowflake, AWS, or Azure, particularly in relation to data services.
  • Experience with Python or similar programming languages for data automation.
  • Familiarity with advanced Power BI features such as Row-Level Security and Power BI Embedded.
