job_description.job_card.job_descriptionBachelor's or advanced degree in Industrial, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related field 3+ years of experience in mechanical or electrical engineering within a manufacturing environment Experience supporting projects within sustainability, maintenance, electrical, and additional related areas. Ability to communicate with a variety of levels of colleagues, from production to leadership, as well as internationally.

Responsibilities :
- Provide maintenance and engineering support for the Macon facility.
- Complete installation and startup of new equipment / machines and continue with the maintenance of such installed equipment / machines.
- Adhere to Freudenberg safety procedures and OSHA guidelines, including correctly and consistently wearing required PPE to work safely to prevent on-the-job injuries by following corporate and industry safety rules and procedures
- Provide leadership to the site’s mechanics, electricians, and control technicians.
- Provide functional leadership and creativity in the initiation of design, development, and optimization of equipment and processes to meet the business objectives.
- Develop knowledge and skills in leadership of the application of engineering principles, scientific analysis and project management.
