Sodexo is seeking a  Biomedical Equipment Technician I  for Einstein Medical Center located in Philadelphia, PA.

Sodexo’s growing Healthcare Technology Management Division is seeking solution-oriented candidates who excel at customer service with a proven success as an experienced  Biomedical Equipment Technician I  to support Healthcare Technology services.

The main role / responsibilities of the position will be to ensure all related biomedical equipment is maintained in a quality and timely manner. The ideal candidate will have outstanding customer service and communications skill as well as strong technical skills and a commitment to deliver excellent repair service in an expedient manner.

What You'll Do

Assist with the inspection, testing, and basic maintenance of biomedical equipment under the guidance of senior technicians.

Repair and troubleshooting of medical devices to ensure equipment is safe and operational.

Help document maintenance activities, repairs, and service history accurately and timely.

Learn and follow regulatory standards and safety procedures related to healthcare technology.

Provide responsive and courteous customer service to clinical staff and end users.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of workspaces and tools.

Communicate effectively with team members and leadership regarding work progress and equipment status.

Demonstrate a willingness to learn, grow, and contribute to a collaborative healthcare environment.

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement - Associate's Degree (or equivalent experience) in electronic, biomedical engineering or a discipline geared toward managing maintaining and repairing clinical equipment within a healthcare environment and / or equivalent of military BMET program and / or AAMI certified
