Category IV Mast Inspection Manager

This role is responsible for the Category IV mast inspection process, excluding repair work. This role provides oversight and direction of team members, creates and maintains production schedules, processes, while assuring all work is performed to defined quality standards.

Essential Responsibilities :

  • Oversee the removal, disassembly, inspection, and reassembly of masts.
  • Ensure inspection and repairs meet company and API RP4G requirements.
  • Organize and manage 3rd party inspection services.
  • Implement and lead a continuous improvement culture.
  • Ensure the necessary labor and materials are available when needed.
  • Complete and compile APR RP4G documentation and inspection packages.
  • Create and maintain a positive, encouraging, and high-performing team culture.

Work Schedule :

  • Working Schedule is typically Monday Thursday, 6 : 30 AM-5 : 00 PM. Overtime may be required.

    • Travel Requirements :

  • Occasional travel to customer facilities may be required.

    • Required Qualifications :

  • 8+ Years structural fabrication / welding experience
  • Current or prior AWS D1D certifications
  • 2+ Years weld inspection experience
  • 2+ Years management or supervisor experience.
  • Valid US driver's license.
  • Highschool Diploma

    • Preferred Qualifications :

  • API Mast Inspection Experience
  • Prior experience with well service mast or equivalent product construction or repair.

    • Physical Requirements :

  • This is a physically active role.
  • Frequent near vision use for reading and computer use
  • Finger agility for keyboarding
  • Periods of sitting and standing may be necessary
  • May be requested to work outside of normal work schedule to meet business needs.

    • Working Conditions & Hazards :

  • Work is typically performed in manufacturing environment.
  • Exposure noise and temperature extremes are to be expected.
